A business phone number for photographers

Neuron answers every call that you can't and turns leads to sales.

Neuron gives your photography business its own local number, and an agent that picks up on it. The enquiry that arrives while you are behind the camera gets your packages and your prices straight away, and you come out of the shoot to a client who already knows what they want.

When a new customer texts

Your text agent

Hi! Do you shoot engagement sessions? We are thinking Baker Beach in June.
I do, and Baker Beach at golden hour is a favourite. An engagement session is $450 for 90 minutes and 40 edited photos.
That sounds great. Is Saturday the 14th open?
I'll pass that to Elena now, and she'll text you to confirm the date.

Sent by your agent

It answers with the packages and prices you gave it, and passes the couple to you when they ask for a date.

When the phone rings and your hands are full

Your voice agent

Answered in your business name

Your agent

Thanks for calling Elena Ruiz Photography. How can I help?

Caller

Hi, I am looking for a photographer for my daughter's quinceañera on September 20th in San Leandro.

Your agent

Congratulations to her. About how many hours of coverage are you thinking, and how many guests?

Caller

Around four hours, and about a hundred and fifty people.

It gets the date, the place and the kind of coverage, and texts you the whole thing the moment the call ends.

What it takes off your plate

Package and pricing questions

What a session costs, how long it runs, how many photos are delivered and when they arrive are answered from what you taught it, in your tone.

Enquiries that arrive mid-shoot

You cannot answer the phone with a camera in your hands. Your agent can, and the person who called gets a real conversation where they would have reached a voicemail.

Every detail a client ever sent

Ask for the date of an engagement shoot or the address of a venue and it comes back, without scrolling through months of messages.

What comes with the number

  • Your own local number, free, and it is yours rather than shared
  • An agent that answers texts in your tone and takes calls while you are working
  • Caller ID for texts and calls, so an unknown number arrives with a name
  • Voicemail written out in the thread, under your own greeting in your own voice
  • Every language, both ways: a customer texts in Spanish, you read it in English, and your reply arrives in Spanish
  • Search across everything anyone has ever sent you

Every plan comes with a number and an agent, and the free plan has no card to enter. The plans are side by side on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

Can the agent tell clients whether a date is free?

Not yet. It does not see your calendar, so it takes the date the client wants and hands them to you to confirm.

Can it answer questions about my packages?

Yes. Give it your website or your price list and it answers from that, and hands you anything it should not answer on its own.

Do I have to give up my personal number?

No. Neuron gives you a second number that lives in its own app, so your personal number stays personal. Your customers reach the business line and your family reaches you.

Does my customer need to download anything?

No. Your business number sends and receives ordinary text messages and ordinary phone calls, so anyone with a phone can reach you.

What does it cost?

Neuron is free to start, with a real number and 50 texts. Neuron Pro is $9.99 a month, or $6.99 a month billed yearly, for unlimited texting and a number you choose. Neuron Premium is $29.99 a month, or $239.99 a year, and makes your agent unlimited on calls, on texts and in a chat on your website.
